Alpha & Omega School
Since 1998 we have been involved in a wonderful project nearing completion in Zamora, Mexico. The Alpha & Omega School has provided education for underprivileged children in one section of the city of Zamora. The miracles that have taken place for the construction of the school and the needs of the children are too numerous to tell. We have provided shoes for the school children. Currently there are anywhere from 110 to 150 attending annually. We are traveling to Zamora every Christmas now to bring gifts and toys to all the children. We are providing one meal a day for every month they are attending school. This alone is costing over $300.00 a month as we are able to fund it. The body of Christ has really jumped into this $95,000 project. Many different denominations have invested money into this worthy work. Our latest project has been to purchase a piece of property next to the Alpha & Omega School for a playground. The work on the lot has been completed and we need to pay for the lot. Short Term Mission Trips
One of the greatest joys Shirley and I have experienced in ministry has been the opportunity to take others along with us to Mexico, Bulgaria, Trinidad, and now the Philippines. We have seen the hearts of many open up for World Missions by taking them for 7 to 10 days into another culture foreign to the United States. Some of our closest friends have been working with us now to continue harvesting souls on the mission field. Many of the people we have taken have had life changing experiences traveling into these beautiful places of ministry. Helping others develop the call of God in their lives has become one of our focal points in ministry. It is overwhelming to watch our friends from America connect with the special servants of God on the mission field. Contact us to see opportunities for these trips.
Our groups have worked in the Tarasco Indian villages in Mexico as well as the Gypsy villages of Bulgaria. We have done street ministry in Zamora and preached in jails, rehabilitation centers as well as many churches. We have been involved in labor projects in Mexico such as painting a church and knocking out walls to enlarge a sanctuary. Our groups have dug ditches at the new lot and painted at the Alpha & Omega School. We are also helping with the church in Juancito. Recently we mixed and poured concrete for the church floor. Our work in Bulgaria is growing yearly with places for people who work with children and want to help do the crusade work. Our ministry has reached from one side of the nation to the other to preach to hundreds of Gypsys as well as Turkish Muslims. Our vision is to expand the children's ministry to include clowns, balloon animals, and keep distributing literature directed at reaching these beautiful children. The Philippino harvest field has also opened up to us and we will be needing pastors, musicians, and other ministers to come and help us in conferences and open air ministry!
Mission Application
Sponsoring Pastors and Administrative Staff
We have been fortunate enough to provide some small monthly salaries to new Pastors pioneering works in Bulgaria and Mexico. One of my hearts desires is for us to grow to the extent that we can help provide for the necessities of living for many more families who are called of the Lord to plant churches on foreign soil. When we do crusades it is our goal to start helping plant new works and then once home find ways to give them support. We also have friends in Bulgaria who are doing working in administrative positions as well as doing practical ministry that we support.
Buying Land
Several years ago in Bulgaria we were able to purchase a piece of property for only $800.00 and then afterwards turn around and send another check for refurbishing the building. The church is located in the village of Toplochani. Before that we purchased two pieces of property for the school in Mexico. We are always looking for something God instructs us to purchase to help with the work of winning souls. The church now in Toplochani has merged an Assembly of God and Church of God together and is starting to prosper greatly. The Alpha & Omega School is expanding with a playground and we need to pay for this new lot to the left of our school.
Crusade Evangelism
My heart throbs to do more of this type of work. The success we have experienced in Bulgaria and Trinidad has made us hungry to continue doing crusades. We have seen over 4000 people saved over the last 9 years in crusade evangelism. We know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we feel especially called to continue pursuing these opportunities with all of our might. Many special things have taken place in our crusades as we have watched the hand of God sweep over people during times of prayer. Our plans are expanding to do crusades in the Philippines with many more souls coming into the kingdom of God.
Feeding Programs
Our friend in the Philippines has had a sincere desire to feed his church with simple staple foods such as rice and fish. Once a month they can feed very impoverished people in their neighborhood for only $150.00 a month. We are looking for sponsors to support this way of touching lives in the Philippines. With a little over 2 pounds of rice they can feed their families for close to three days. During our monthly Bulgaria trips we take a day to feed an entire village of very poor Gypsy people.
