Can you believe the holidays are already here again? It just seems like a few weeks ago we were taking down the Christmas tree and cleaning up from all the special things we did last year. Now, it’s that time of year again!
As I look over the past year a lot of things have happened. I guess in our revivals we have seen more people come up for financial help than ever before. They don’t know about their jobs. They don’t know what the economy will do. They don’t know what tomorrow will bring. I feel sure a lot of people are going through this. I have a word of encouragement for you! The bible says “I have never seen the righteous forsaken or His seed begging for bread.”(Psalm 37:25)! This scripture doesn’t mean we will not suffer nor go through any trials! However it does mean, God will take care of us no matter what we go through. We had a man stand in our home this week telling us he may loose his job. With three children he didn’t know what he would do. I don’t know what he will do, but I do know he is a christian that loves God with all his heart and God will see him through. When I think of our own finances I tell God you called us into the ministry and you can supply. I always tell God you have been so good to us! You gave me a wonderful husband, two great children, great parents and a great family. God please protect us and make for sure we are all saved when you come and get us. This is more important to me than any amount of money. Some people only think of a blessing as money coming to them. For me that is the least blessing I know. I know you have to have money to live. Nick and I have had many hard times financially. But I don’t dwell on them very long. I just say God even if I loose everything we have and you keep my family safe I am so blessed.
As we start into the Christmas holidays let us take a few minutes to thank God for all our many blessings no matter what we have gone through this year. I know many of you have gone through so much. Let us just remember that God loves us so much. I know you have heard many times before, but He sent His only begotten SON JESUS to die for YOU. (John 3:16) So if you are reading this and don’t know what you are going to do. Your bills are past due, your children don’t want to obey, your child has left home and you can’t find them, your family member is sick and you need a miracle, you have no money to pay for your medicine, or your marriage is just about to go under, no matter what it is remember this is the miracle season. The great news is every day of the year is a miracle season with Jesus. I am going to ask God to prove Himself true for you and He will give you a MIRACLE this Christmas Season. Remember, He loves you so much. He desires to give good gifts to His children. He wants to see you blessed. He says he desires to bless you just like you want to bless your own children. Luke 11:13. Hold on and don’t let the devil get the best of you. It will be worth it real soon.
Dear God,
I pray for everyone that reads this message. If there is anyone in financial need I ask you to bless them beyond their wildest dreams. Come through for them and let them know it is a MIRACLE. I pray for the children that are wondering away from you. The greatest Christmas gift for any mom or dad would be that their children come home to you and give their hearts back to you. If they have family members that are sick, God I ask right now that you would perform a miracle. I speak to cancer to leave, I speak to kidneys to start functioning the way God made their body. I pray for any sickness to line up with the word of GOD that their body would be made whole. I pray for the couple that doesn’t think their marriage is going to make it. Put love in their home. Let them fall in love with each other all over again. Let them fall in love with You. God if there is anyone out their reading this that doesn’t feel like they can go on any further and is thinking about ending it all. Please, please, God let them know how much you love them and how much other people love them. Let them know that YOU do have a plan for their life and that before they were ever born you knew them. I rebuke the spirit of suicide right now off their minds and I speak freedom in the name of Jesus. I curse satan’s plan for their life and I release the plan of God for their life. Let them live and not die. I pray right now you will let them feel your arms wrap around them and let them feel the love you have for them. I know you are going to work a miracle. We will give you the praise and glory forever and do your will. We love you with all of our hearts. Happy Birthday Jesus and Merry Christmas. Amen
If you do not have the money to get your family everything you usually do. Don’t let this depress you. Let this be the year that we really celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. Let this be the year the Jesus really gets glory for leaving His throne in Heaven and coming to earth to be born in a manger. He deserves all glory and I think this is a great time to give Him what He deserves.
